Since the passing of the bond project in May 2025, extensive planning and meetings have been underway to create an exceptional school for our students, staff, and community. While many decisions are still ahead, we are able to begin preliminary dirt work in the staff parking lot next to the high school entrance earlier than expected.
Starting approximately November 3, the staff parking lot will be fenced off and closed for construction. The visitor parking and handicap parking will remain available, and the high school entrance will continue to serve as the main entrance. Staff members who typically park in the staff lot will now park in the south parking lot near the elementary entrance. If you use that lot to park for student pick-up and drop-off, please note that space will be very limited, so please plan accordingly during these times. To help with congestion, alternative parking during pick-up and drop-off will be available in the gravel lot on Cherry Street just north of the elementary school. During evening activities, parking will also be available in the gravel parking lot south of the high school entrance near Highway 66. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the project begins. We will keep you posted as changes occur.
The first phase of construction, beginning in November, will include the removal of a large portion of the staff parking lot, tree removal, and dirt work to prepare the site for the new addition. This phase is expected to last approximately five to six weeks, allowing the dirt to set and compact for four months. Construction will resume in the spring, approximately April 1, when the next phase of the building process begins. We will continue to provide updates as changes occur throughout the construction process.

The Lions volleyball team wrapped up the Nebraska Capitol Conference tournament today with a fourth place finish falling to Yutan. Finish the regular season strong Lions! #WhatWeDo

Yesterday our ninth grade students were able to attend the Connecting the Dots conference hosted by UNL's Cass County 4H extension office. Our students learned great skills and were able to connect with other county schools! #WhatWeDo.

Mr. Schulze's 7th-grade shop class built a DaVinci bridge to complete their unit on balsa wood bridges. What a terrific way for our students to problem solve and learn something cool. #WhatWeDo


The Lion XC team took on the NCC conference XC race today in Fort Calhoun. It was a very competitive field, and the Lions were led by Kiara Trent's 6th place finish. Districts are next week at the Cass County Fairgrounds. Great job Lions! #WhatWeDo

We are proud to announce Louisville FBLA has earn the National Summer Starter Champion Chapter Challenge. Officers and members had complete various task from August 1-September 24 to earn 600 out of 1800 points. Louisville Chapter earned a total of 1300 points.
They are now working on Shaping Success Champion Chapter Challenge. Their goal is to earn 6000 points by May 6 to earn Gold Chapter Status.
