Yesterday afternoon, all JAG specialists from across the state met, and JAG chose its Shining Star for May. Nikki Biesterfeld, Louisville's JAG specialist, received the May Shining Star Award! She was chosen from over 80 specialists from across the state for her continued work with students and positive outcomes. Congrats, Mrs. Biesterfeld! #WhatWeDo

The stage is set for the Class of 2026 to graduate this afternoon. The ceremony is at 1:00 and doors open at noon. We will also live stream the ceremony on our Hudl page. #WhatWeDo

We had our final "A Lion to ROAR About" assembly this week! Students are nominated for excellence in being responsible, respectful, safe, kind and simply... being the best version of themselves! We are so thankful for every Lion at Louisville! Let's give each of these kids a great BIG ROAR!!

We have a BIG shoutout to Mrs. Schmitt, she won "Rookie of the Year" from NETA for the entire state of Nebraska for teachers who are innovating and bringing the very best of instruction to our students. If your children have experienced Mrs. Schmitt's class, you know exactly why she won! We are proud to have her be a part of our Lion staff!
