Sometimes our Lions shine beyond the classroom and court. LHS sophomore Jillian Muntz recently took her passion for showing sheep to the National Western Stock Show in Denver—and came home with some incredible results!

Jillian showed her Southdown sheep and earned:
• 3rd place in Senior Showmanship
• Reserve Champion Southdown in the Junior Breeding Show
• 2nd in class with her crossbred ewe
• Southdown Champion in the Open Show

CONGRATULATIONS to Harper Chrisman on the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exam that has earned her the title of Nebraska State Champion in Microsoft Word (Microsoft 365 Apps)! First place! Our Future City team Terra Verdia placed first at their competition today!! The theme was "Farm to Table" -- and Louisville had four teams that brought their A game! Hours of dedication that included research, engineering, building, designing, writing and so much more filled these students lives in and out of the school building for the last 5 months. Terra Verdia will travel to Washington D.C. to compete with their project. We are so proud of these kids and can't wait to celebrate their success! Ms. Little deserves a special shout out for coaching these kids through it all! Go Lions! 🦁
