We have Lions representing LHS at the Class B All-State Band in Grand Island today! They have been working hard all day and enjoyed working with the other Class B schools. 🥁 🎺 #WhatWeDo

(More art bragging alert) Youth Art Month is held at the State Capitol each year and the Lions are being represented today. Sophia’s work is the sting ray while Whitney’s is the coral reef. Whitney Haynes could not attend today but she did get HONORABLE MENTION out of all high school students. They only give out one honorable mention and best of show in each category! Such a cool way to showcase the talents of our students! #WhatWeDo

Both Kayleigh-Ann and Sophia got Honorable Mentions at Scholastics for their respective art pieces. The work is up until the 16th of April at the Omaha TAC building if anyone wants to go see their pieces. We got some great artists up in here! #WhatWeDo

The Louisville Board of Education will have a Special Board Meeting tonight to take action on six major construction bids for our building project. The meeting is tonight, March 26, 2026 at 5:30 pm in the HS music Room.

Our first grade team just finished recording their first semester's ELA teaching and learning. The green sticky notes represent standards they have taught multiple times throughout the year so far. We are so lucky to have such an amazing team of teachers for our young Lion readers!! #WhatWeDo

SkillsUSA and FBLA hosted a career fair this afternoon. We would like to thank all of the 40+ employers who took time out of their day to come. Students 7-12 grade got to go around asking employers various questions on a bingo card. What a great experience for our students! #WhatWeDo

Congratulations to Allie Hiatt. Today she signed her college banner. She plans to attend Midland University where she will major in history. Allie will also be on the shotgun sports team for Midland. We are proud of you! #WhatWeDo

We had the privilege of honoring Carson Toelle today as he signed his college banner to attend Wayne State College! Carson plans to study sports management, with a minor in either exercise science or business administration. We look forward to following Carson's journey! #WhatWeDo

9th - 11th Grade Students will take the preACT and ACT tests on Tuesday, March 24th.
There will be NO SCHOOL for seniors on that day.
Juniors will be dismissed when their testing is complete.

We’re collecting gently used board & card games to support the Teammates program 🎲🃏 With it being a new program teammates doesn't have a lot of games or activities for mentors and mentees to complete while they meet once a week.
