In late March of 2025, Louisville High School teamed up with Platteview High School to make one unforgettable team. Monday through Friday, Louisville travels the distance of only 15 minutes to practice from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Plattteview’s high school soccer field. These teammates work extremely hard, and it shows with their 8 wins and only 3 losses.

They are currently ranked 19th in Nebraska and number 11 in Class B. In their district, they are ranked 2.

Coach Katie Hobbs and her dedicated staff of assistants—including Caitlin Adrian, Jessica Kovarick, Kitia Hobbs, Maureen Vandenbroucke, and Jerico Olson—are constantly finding new and better ways to win. Beyond the scoreboard, they focus on teaching not just soccer, but also teamwork and the importance of working together toward a common goal. This partnership, also known as a co-op, was a historic move for Louisville. Before 2025, Louisville girls had only one spring sport option while the boys had three. Activities Director Kaleb Walker and other families fought to have this option for another spring sport for about 3 years to ensure students have a "wide range of experiences" both in and out of the classroom.

Sophomore Micaiah Price, who plays midfield when she walks on the field, sees the two schools as one team. Micaiah stated, “ There isn't really a separate team; we're all one when we walk out.”

The JV girls' season finished on Thursday, April 30th, with a conference championship win. On May 9th, Varsity will play for the district, hoping for a win. This team works extremely hard and deserves all the accomplishments they have gotten.
