Louisville High School has welcomed 7 new students this year.Being at a new school brings a whole new experience for them.

There are many different clubs students can join.

Freshman Levi Sell said, “I most likely will do like E Sports, because I've always been a gamer, and it's like a thing that was not something that we could have done at our old school.” Because at his old school, it was a charter school, so they didn't offer many extracurriculars.

Esports is just one of the many clubs we offer at Louisville.

One of the most challenging aspects of moving is losing friends and trying to make new ones.

Sophomore Brandon Rice explained: “I did baseball over the summer. You did baseball. But I didn't really know anybody; there weren't that many at this school that played for junior Legion.” thats just something that rice did to get to know more people before the school year.

Making friends is one of the most crucial parts of life, and public school is one thing that could help with it a lot. Sophomore Brenna Welch said,” I wish I could have my old friends if I could change anything.”

There are many differences, like class size, homework work and teachers you miss, or even as small as lunch.

Rice said, “One thing that I do have here that I didn't have in the old school is Pride Time. But one thing that I don't have is that in my old school, during your senior year, you didn't have to have all your periods filled out, you just have what you needed and then went home after.”

Adjusting to new things can be hard for many people.
